Mrs. Blocker had a piece of hair jewelry made by

The name of each OSM ancestor was read aloud and a bell was rung as a tribute to these strong and often forgotten ladies. New member and supplemental ancestors, that have been added since the 'Window In Time' was made for our Tea in 2018, were also read. In total, approximately 300 Steel Magnolia’s were remembered during a COVID friendly private service held at Oakwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL. Oakwood is the oldest cemetery in the Cradle of the Confederacy where many Steel Magnolias are buried. (Photos by Durward Henderson)
